This lovely “tree” is a metaphor for how humans generally search for societal solutions. We peek through a narrow pinhole of our experiences, manufacture a “solution,” and hope to call that “truth.“
Politics, devolving societal folkways and mores, catchphrases, poorly thought-out slogans, fads, and the cheap and shallow stuff of Religious self-help formulas that are little different than New Year’s resolutions… don’t get us very far.
This has been your observation and experience also, yes?
