Tesla Just Killed the Most Important Car of the 21st Century

“The Tesla Model S Has Lived Long Enough to See Itself Become a Villain.” Riffing on the line from The Dark Knight (2008) “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”…

Road & Track, 2023, is likely addressing the reality that nearly all of Tesla’s global sales come from the more affordable Model Y and Model 3.

And so, having announced the “blue screen of death” for the 2012 EV, Model S manufacturing capacity is about to be converted into Optimus Prime robots and Robo-Taxis.

One of these days, a manufacturing conversion of this magnitude will just be a software update for the entire Tesla factory. And then a Ctrl-Alt-Del reboot.
