Jenin, West Bank, made news again today. My Hertz rental car event in Jenin was news 25+ years ago. At least it is one of my more vivid personal Middle East memories.
It is a difficult situation in that town, and has been for quite a long time, sadly.
And — it was a great test of whether my “rental car insurance” would actually cover “this” when I turned the car in after the attack in Jenin. They didn’t even blink when I showed them the car.
It has been a tough situation in the region, the West Bank, the Jezreel Valley (Valley of Megiddo) 20 klicks to the north, and the town of Jenin, for a long, long time now.
