You would be mistaken if… you believe your clothing and appearance, your physical fitness or your bling, your vice or conjured self-discipline,
your bank account or your experiences,
your sport or hobby or Netflix,
or your education, reputation or your title,
or your special vitamin supplements,
or your cool new technology…
…will magically protect you or enable you, keep you safe or entertained or feeling good, for more than a minute.
Do yourself and family a favor: Ground yourself in something far more Real and Eternal. It’s a Choice.
Lack of wisdom, lack of experience, lack of observation skills, or just hubris often give humans the idea that there’s some magic force-shield superpower available by some human vice, bank account, vacation, girlfriend, or accomplishment.
Don’t waste time trying to live long enough to observe this truth by your own collapse, or someone else’s.
