My favorite was Burger QUEEN. Doesn’t sound right rolling off the tongue does it? But it was real, until bought out by Dairy Queen!
It turns out that McDonald’s did not have major growth in profits – but rather only in opening locations. It seems to have been a poor strategy since profits only rose 50% when locations doubled. Wendy’s used McDonald’s market research to secure locations next-door or across the street from McDonald’s locations, and the perception of higher quality food won the day, one could reason. The emphasis was on footprint rather than profits for Micky-D’s, and with “Hamburger U” not providing the quality leadership for corporate and franchise stores that are needed, things have not always gone so well.

Love seeing the industry leaders, Burger King, McDonald’s, and KFC, go head to head!
Leading the charge and being consistent for so many years. 🫡
Watch McDonalds put the petal to the metal in the 90’s! wow. Who was the CEO and what did they do differently during this time?
Many wonder what makes the top brands stand out. In my opinion, their innovation sets them apart. What do you think?
