And we keep going all human on Him and messing things up.

Beware of the emotional seduction of ritual, symbolism, and hierarchy. It’s an easy sweet placebo, but not worth living for, or dying for.
Thumb-sucking favorite-blanky sentiment won’t Change your character in the tough moments, or help you in your blind spots. Ritual and symbols are an opiate. Sentiment and ritual are a sweet “trip” like CBD gummies, or calming Weed. But they cannot help you Grow. They are just a cheap feel-good — while you are cheated out of what you were born for. Symbolism and ritual and hierarchy are only a nickel-bag of sawdust. Jesus isn’t like that!
Jesus was and still is… the opposite of of ritual, symbolism, and hierarchy. Jesus was no Mystic. So why pursue that when that’s not Him, but something else? We would only do that if we mistakenly thought that He supports “the whisper game“ of degradation and mutation of what He brought us from heaven. He proved the opposite when He was here.
Life Together, with Him as the Main Character in our every priority, every decision, and every relationship, all day EVERY day, is His Designed apprenticeship. Now—just like then. Still and always, all ways. There are no “holy days” in Him. He is our Rest, and a dangerous, easy yoke. Not a thing, idea, religion, rule, ideology, stain glass Sunday morning cartoon, or cuddly doll.
He doesn’t play that way.
Yes, He is dangerous.
But He is good.
