Picture the fun, peaceful carefree streets and neighborhoods of Paris or the US in the 1920s, and then picture those same streets again in the early 1940s. What a difference. “Even the Elect were fooled, caught off guard, intimidated” by the power and force and persuasion of the dark satanic empire, “if that were possible.” If Satan can’t 1) lull us to sleep by being play babies or unwilling to oppose him, or 2) trick us into joining him, or 3) jumping off a cliff out of fear or guilt (Jesus Washes! That’s the Deal, but Satan doesn’t tell you that), or by 4) tempting us to lash back in self justification with vengeance that only belongs to God, then satan uses other tactics to try to control us.
Once the glib video game depicting the 1920s can’t be sustained in our world because stuff is getting too close to the end and the dragon’s time is short, the 1940s real world satanic attack will come rolling down the dusty roads with satan‘s soldiers and tanks, comprised of people like this video above describes. That tribe is made out of people who don’t bend their knee for real in their hearts, but try to defend themselves by hurting others…

We are all involved, but we can’t be isolated in the “1940” version of planet Earth that may be upon us. It’s all there in the book of Revelation, and we believed it, but we just never thought it would come in our generation. Maybe it won’t. But being aware is appropriate.
Therefore. Never judge others by skin color or nose rings or green hair. Satan has helpers and Jesus has soldiers that can look like just about anything. In the “1940s” things can change, but do not assign guilt or innocence SIMPLY for external judgments because they wouldn’t make sense in the “1920s.”
Look for the HEART and the life and the love and fruit —because everything else can be made to seem persuasive, and will fool you into fear or apathy or despair rather than faith. There is actually a war.

The carefree fun and music doesn’t reveal much about us. What happens when evil attacks or failure comes reveals what’s in our hearts. Not our innocence or guilt, but what’s in our hearts. Love covers a multitude of sins. Music can come in the streets, or like Paul and Silas from behind prison bars, with the only instrument being the percussion tapping on the jail bars. Nobody’s innocent. But do we bend the knee or clench our fist when failure or pain hits us. And it will. Decisions about other things are very secondary to decisions about the heart.
