Forrest Frank’s Take on Toxic Positivity

In a world where hatred, venom, and lies are Weaponized on “social” media, rapper Forrest Frank points out the highest ground and healthiest attitude: a lamb led to the slaughter, silent before his shearers.

That is almost impossible, but worth doing.

Often people are cruel, hoping to create “a safe place” for themselves. By attacking others, some believe they can justify their own choices and failures. And then, they thrive on using their energy to attack and counter-attack, rather than self-reflect.

In the end though, as Forrest Frank points out in this video, it’s a dead-end to debate and defend oneself against twisted darkness. It just harms the soul and goes nowhere. So, learn from it, everyone needs to, and look upward and onward.

The attacks were generally created out of fear and guilt, not self-reflecting honesty. “Blame you!”

Everyone is looking for a “safe place“ and somehow they were led to believe that venting maliciously, rather than love and understanding, would help them feel better. But it never does. The drug wears off and bitterness wins.

King David was a rapper too, in his own way: Psalm 27: https://lnkd.in/ghCEa49d
