I have forever regretted telling steve thompson golf is a sissy sport, if it’s even an actual sport. I was a 10K runner and Orienteering runner in Engineering School. My freshman dorm neighbor and ΛΧΑ brother steve was a golfer. Sorry steve!
Golf is truly a full-contact sport. What was I thinking?
If you’re practicing longer and longer putts at home, look around before you back up those extra two feet!

I had no idea what orienteering was my freshman year, but they gave me a crash course due to an injury on the team, since I was the best distance runner at Rose. I got the Bronze Medal at the Collegiate National Championship race — dumb luck by a fast runner making and solving mistakes quickly. 🙂 It truly is a great sport. “The Thinking Man’s Sport” was Orienteering’s national motto back then, but I’m guessing that’s too gender specific to make the cut these days.
