Brilliance Is Never Enough

I mean I think I’ve had some pretty cool, dope, epic ideas, and you have too. I don’t know if this story is true or not, but coolness does not equal a legit business model — or many people would be mega trillionaires. 😎 Every “dinner table“ fun new idea does not always create profitability, if the idea is too operationally unstable or cost intensive, or poorly managed. Perhaps ChatGPT did not forecast massive competition as they secured funding and marshaled human and hardware resources — in a software, hardware, energy, and technology industry that is almost impossible to protect with IP/patents? And what about the news cycle, with coinciding societal and political waves?

That would be a problem, if that happened. The cost for legal pursuit and protection would often easily exceed projected profit margin. And yet, to “roll over” and not involve legal pursuit would result in massive market share loss.

How do you spell “dilemma”? Been there, done that.

Capitalism is amazing, but demanding. Honestly, that’s where grace, luck, timing and connections come in, no matter how smart and savvy and experienced you are.

Brilliance is NEVER enough. 😎
