Maybe we all slow down, and take stock that we don’t always know what we think we know? Burt Myers, the inventor of Rock-em Sock-em Robots and Lite-Brite, passes today at age 99. Four children, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and married 50 years until his dear wife passed away. After a career in the Navy and in the gaming industry (pre-software-driven when you could still hold something in your hand), Burt bicycled, at age 59, from the Pacific to the Atlantic Oceans, made a 12-day, 135 mile trip to the North Pole at age 69, scuba diving in Fiji, and 100 other tough courageous but child-like adventures. Fitting for the inventor inside of him. 🥳
