Hand Out Hope Like Candy

“Hand out Hope, like it’s candy from your pocket.” Leave a legacy and be remembered and spoken of in that way, and you have “succeeded” on this planet, this round rocketship, in your, our short lifetime.

There was a role model around, give or take, 23,894 months ago. He was a blue-collar guy, born in the West Bank, from Palestine. Do what he did and does. Hand out hope, like candy from your pocket.

There’s a compound Greek word for that. Hupogrammos ὑπογραμμός. “Hupo” means “under,” and “grapho” of course means “to write”. ὑπογραμμός literally means an “under-writing” or copying, underneath the original.

“Hand out Hope, like it’s candy from your pocket.”

How refreshing would it be if handing out hope like candy would be the goal of everyone you met, and everyone you see when passing by a mirror!
