Growth Can’t Happen Quickly

Insistence on immediate success and rewards that CANNOT happen in this world explains quite a lot about humanity’s failures with “New Year’s Resolutions” and general mediocrity in sports, business, spiritual growth, intellectual prowess, music, or any endeavor.

Growth CAN’T happen quickly in our biological universe, so either persevere or quit messing around with ambitious expectations for your life. Work and time are the entrance fees for quality and success.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
-Calvin Coolidge

“I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
-Bruce Lee
